Hold the main button to speak and release to send. Short or silent recordings are ignored. Type a message and tap Send for keyboard input. Use the speaker button when you want Pepper to read a response aloud.
Open Settings, choose Omi Pendant, and scan once to pair. While connected, Vibe Noting privately buffers up to the latest 15 minutes of compressed pendant audio on the iPhone. A single press records the next minute as an ordinary voice note. A double press saves the available previous 15 minutes and records the next 15 minutes, then Gemini summarizes and extracts notable events, names, places, facts, agreements, reminders, and action items. The official Omi app should not use Bluetooth at the same time.
The pendant vibrates when a capture is accepted and when timed recording ends. Keep Vibe Noting installed and Bluetooth enabled; force-quitting the app prevents normal background reconnection until it is opened again.
Use the paperclip to take a camera photo, choose a photo-library image, or select a file. Photos are resized and compressed before upload. Other files are sent in their original format with your next prompt so Pepper can extract useful note details.
The upper pane shows a current Markdown summary, with Action Items listed first whenever they exist. The current journal is stored locally between sessions and sent for AI processing when needed. At the start of a new day, the previous journal is archived to a separate notes store selected by the anonymous UUID created on your phone.
If you explicitly ask Pepper to remember, store, or memorize operating information, Pepper may save it to a small scratchpad in secure storage on this phone. Scratchpad updates replace the entire previous memory, so retained items must be repeated during an update. Ordinary notes, reminders, events, tasks, attachments, and research stay in the journal instead. Scratchpad memory is sent to Gemini with each prompt so Pepper can use it.
Vibe Noting shows an AI-processing disclosure before use. Continue only after you understand that prompts, journal content, recordings, photos, and files are sent to AI services.
